Sickle Cell awareness day 2022

Come and join us via Zoom on Friday 17th June 11 am – 1 pm to celebrate progress and work together for better health and care services.

The Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Centre at City Hospital Birmingham provides and supports specialist health care services to people across the Midlands, which has the 2nd highest population of people with Sickle Cell in the UK. The Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Centre will be part of the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital – this presents a great opportunity to work together to ensure health, care and support services are joined up and fully integrated to provide the very best of services for people with Sickle Cell before the new hospital opens.
