Healthwatch Sandwell Project – The needs of young people and their experiences of health and social care

Healthwatch Sandwell are undertaking a project to find out the needs of young people and their experiences of health and social care.

This project seeks to understand young people’s knowledge of health services and experiences of using them, with a particular emphasis on mental health services.

The questions that the project will seek to answer are as follows:

What knowledge do young people in Sandwell have about what health services are available to them?

What knowledge do young people in Sandwell have about how to access health services?

How have young people in Sandwell experienced using health services?

What knowledge do young people in Sandwell have of mental health services and support that is available to them?

How do the young people of Sandwell think that their access to health services, including mental health services, could be improved?
