Fundamentals of Care – Get Involved.
Getting the Basics Right – Our approach to the Fundamentals of Care
Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS TRUS want to deliver better care to patients, and people who use services. They want to ensure the patient/service user is our focus of care, not just their illness.
Traditionally, the Fundamentals of Care has been the responsibility of the nurse on behalf of the healthcare team. SWBHT believe this needs to be an interdisciplinary approach, involving all people involved in the care of patient’s/service users/carers, including people themselves.
SWBHT would like to invite you to join them at the CAP Centre, Windmill Lane, Smethwick, B66 3LX on Tuesday 10th May at 1.30 p.m. to talk with members of our nursing team about ‘the approach to getting the fundamentals right’.
So, if you would like to join in with this exciting conversation, please email email@example.com or call 0121 507 2671 to book a place.
SWBHT are also looking for 6 people to volunteer to be filmed talking for a few minutes about the care they received and how and what, could have been done to improve that experience. So, if you feel confident enough to share your experience with them on the day please let them know at the time of booking a place.
