Black Country and West Birmingham Maternity and Neonatal Survey
Can you help give BAME women a maternity voice?
The Black Country and West Birmingham Local Maternity and Neonatal System wants to reach out to pregnant Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women.
Working with Maternity Voices Partnerships, we want to provide information about local services for women and their families, reassure them that maternity services are available and safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, and encourage them to seek help if they have any concerns.
But to do this we need to find out more about the thoughts, feelings and concerns that our local Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women have.
Have you used our maternity services? These include Antenatal appointments to see your midwife, a scan appointment and Postnatal appointments to see your midwife for parent and infant checks. If you have, how do you feel about them?
What can we do that would make you feel supported and happy to ask for help?
Please help us to give Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women and their families a maternity voice by sharing our anonymous survey with your local communities and the organisations that represent them.
Survey will close on Friday 23 October 2020.
