Waterside is a care home for 59 people providing nursing, convalescence, palliative and respite care.

Sandwell CAMHS is a specialist mental health service commissioned to provide interventions to those children, young people and their families.

This project endeavored to engage with as many adult Carers as possible but especially those who do not necessarily identify as carers or those who are not currently accessing services to understand their needs in relation to support for carers.

McLaren House is a three-storey property situated on Bratt Street, West Bromwich. It accommodates and supports residents with a mental health condition. It has a capacity of 9 residents

Healthwatch Sandwell (HWS) visited Sandwell General Hospital (SGH), Rowley Regis Hospital (RRH) and City Hospital (CH) to evaluate how effective the Purple Points Initiative (PPI) is and to ascertain whether patients and carers are aware of the initiative.

This project aimed to ascertain patients’ awareness of their local PPG and to find out if patients are involved in their local PPG and if they have received any information about it.

The Day hospice is for anyone with a life limiting illness that requires specialist palliative care support and provides support with physical, emotional, spiritual and social concerns, which come with a life limiting illness, over a structured 12-weekprogramme.

Between 3rd July 2017 and 26th March 2018, Healthwatch Sandwell facilitated three Real World Coproduction Workshops with Maternity Services at City Hospital, part of Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.

Healthwatch Sandwell (HWS) are conducting a survey of all General Practitioner (GP) Practices to find out their patients’ and visitors’ knowledge, awareness and involvement in each practice’s Patient Participation Group (PPG).
