Fountain Court is a Sandwell local authority-run residential care home in Bearwood, Smethwick, providing specialist support for older adults with dementia and mental health needs. It offers long-term residential care and dementia support. The home was rated "Good" by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with positive ratings across safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness, and leadership.

Our findings found that Fountain Court was observed to be safe, welcoming, and well maintained, with positive staff interactions and strong person-centred practice. Areas for further development include dementia-friendly wayfinding, fuller life story documentation and sharing effective practice with other residential services.
