New project! Using Digital Technology in accessing Primary Care Services
Healthwatch Sandwell are the independent voice of the public in health and social care. We collect feedback from members of the public using health and social care services about their experiences and use that feedback to work with service providers and commissioners to improve services.
Since the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, the use of technology has come to the forefront of how patients access services. Whether an app on their mobile, logging in to their GP surgery’s patient online service or receiving video GP consultation services patients have had to adapt quickly to the new ways.
We would like to hear how patients are coping with the changes. you may have challenges or barriers in accessing your GP or pharmacy services using digital technology – Healthwatch Sandwell would very much like to hear about this from You.
- How does virtual appointment compare to face to face?
- What is working for you? What is not working for you?
- What would you like to see improved?
If you are 16 years and over please sign up to take part. It’s your opportunity to have your say.
We will be speaking to people on the telephone, holding virtual meetings and have an online survey or posted out (this will include a freepost envelope for return).
