Healthwatch Sandwell Annual Report 2013-14

The majority of the last year has been spent on setting up the new Healthwatch Sandwell organisation and establishing its partnerships and presence.

This setting up activity has included:

  • Recruiting and bringing together the Board
  • Setting up the company
  • Recruiting staff
  • Setting up offices
  • Meeting with key partners and building relationships e.g. key health and social care providers, Health and Wellbeing Board, Adult Services, NHS England, Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group, other local Healthwatches and Healthwatch England
  • Developing strategy, plans and ways of working to deliver Healthwatch’s aims
  • Changing the company type
